The
Emperor Angelfish
It lives in warm-water oceans. The young and adult
Emperor Angelfish have different colors. The juveniles
have black and white stripes and adults are yellow,
blue, black, and white.
Body:
The
Emperor Angelfish grows up to about 12 to 15 inches
(30-38 cm) and has flat body.
Food:
The
Emperor Angelfish eats meat, eating coral heads, small
invertebrates
(worms), and
crustaceans
(shrimp
and shellfish). They crush hard-shelled prey with their
powerful, beak-like jaws. Most species of Angelfish are
plant-eaters.
