Wind is a renewable energy source that does
not pollute, the environment therefore some people believe that
it is a good alternative for fossil fuels. Wind energy now is
used on land. Plants are placed at points that wind blows.
Scientists are thinking of placing wind turbines offshore. Some
are opposed to this idea because they think it would spoil the
ocean view.
